Well, the car got back from the mufflers shop and is finally inspected!It passed, we're all happy. We put some old speakers from Carlo's4Runner in the back of it, they sound good enough. Good enough until webuy new ones, which'll probably be soon. The thing is like a race caron the freeway, sounds mean as hell. We had to replace the radiatorcap, which we're hoping is the only reason the car was over heating.The cap was pretty old, it was the stock cap that came with the car 14years ago. Just need new tires and the car will pretty much be done. Imight still try to get blue lights for the instrument cluster, but I'min no rush. The white lights are MUCH brighter than the way the camera made themout to be, and the little red light at the top is the light for whichgear I'm in. It's in Park there, with a red square around it, and theletter is in red. For Park and Neutral the light is red, for Reverse,Drive 4, Drive 3, and 2nd gear, the light is green.Again, the lights above the CD player, are much brighter, my camera did not do what I wanted. Oh well.Macro shot of the CD player.I love this car so much.

Well, we went out and got the car on Saturday, cleaned it up Sunday morning. The thing is great, drives great. What it needs: New windshield wipers.Better speakers in the back, which we have, just need to install them.We're thinking about getting High-Intensity Headlight Beams, you know,the ones with the blue glow that are bright as hell? They actuallyrecalled a lot of those because they were too bright.Blue LED lights for the instrument cluster.New tires, the tires on there are so worn out, the car wobbles aroundwhen you get fast enough. The car has been sitting for at least a yearthough, so it's understandable.Maybe a new muffler, the one on it right now looks pretty beat up, but it still works fine.We MAY need to get the brakes fixed, not sure though, it looked kindalow on brake fluid, and when I push down on the brakes, I have to pushpretty hard for a complete stop.Anyway, everyone else is in perfect condition, and seeing as how most ofthose things we need are for show (blue LED lights, HIHB), it's not toobig of a problem. They really laid out the instrument cluster reallywell, I love this thing. It's still dirty here, we just started spraying water on it.It's got a really beautiful paint job on it, for being 14 years old.This car feels so damn sporty too when I'm in it, it's great.
