Lagwagon - "Resolve"

See, pretty cool huh.

This album is flat out great. Comes out November 1st on Fat Wreck Chords. Definitely nice to have a new studio album from them. Blaze (2003) was good, but Resolve just seems overdue. A nice thing about it is there is a nice little bonus hidden track there which is just a Joey Cape acoustic version of "The Chemist" which is the great song which is only available on their "Live In A Dive" album that came out earlier this year. Resolve is a tribute to their original drummer Derrick Plourde who died this year. This album has some more somber songs as you'd expect, but also has some rockers on it which give it a good sense of balance and diversity while maintaining a pretty good level of quality throughout. I definitely say any fan of Good Music™ should pick this up when it drops on November 1st.
