Broken Flowers
IN THE OLD, politically incorrect days of the French New Wave, it was famously said that all you needed to make a movie were a girl and a camera. We can update that sentiment right now and trade "girl" for Bill Murray. [link]
I saw that movie today [link]. With Bill Murray. It broke my heart. It made me cry. It made me laugh. It was independent. You could tell it was independent because of the way things were done. Less talking. More watching. It was real. I like that. Give me more.

RoadTrip II is here! I have another co-op in San Francisco this spring and we've begun the drive across country. We're taking 80 all the way there again. It's been really beautiful so far, and we're not even into the mountains. We're about half way there and currently in Wyoming. My Mom and I have taken some sweet pictures, so check them out. I've put everything so far into a cute lil PDF book. I didn't have time to edit it really, so it's really default and there are still some blury/bad photos. And be careful, it's like 40MB. [link]
I'll try to get something more reasonably sized later. But not bad for an update from Wyoming. More to come!

When life hands me lemons, I make beef stew
"At one point I was staying in a hotel in Florida, for free, looking off this balcony, on my first assignment for 'The Jimmy Kimmel Show,' all because of the stupidest thing I'd ever done in my life. All because of something so dumb." He pauses. "That was really gratifying." [link]
The Internet phenomenon known as "The Super Bowl is Gay" has gotten Andy Milonkais correspondent gigs on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Today Show, his own show on MTV and now a four page article in The Washington Post. I believe that's terrific and I love his style of, what I call, wtfcomedy. But apparently, not everybody is as pleased as I am. Some even seem bitter. [link]
Oh, comedy.
Google Talk

I Google Talk
"11:13:34 PM gmail.com: The broken link has been fixed. Thanks for being our first users!
11:14:14 PM plucas@gmail.com: thanks google!" [link]
Introducing Google Talk. While currently there is only an official client for Windows, Google Talk uses Jabber so people can connect through other programs like GAIM, Adium and iChat. I'm using Adium to connect now, but for the first time, I miss my Windows days. I really want to check out the Google Talk application!
It was through Adium on my Mac, though, that I was able to login to Google Talk even before the official application was out. Now you may be thinking "Wow, you're cool" in a sarcastic tone. I know I would be. However, being one of the firsts, I got an official IM from google (see above). I have no clue what the IM means... I can only guess the "broken link" refered to talk.google.com. But for real, your sarcastic tone should be gone now. That web log is already on the way to the printers. I'm getting a plaque.
