Why-Fi?

  • Written by Robomo

Another random amount of days, another poll. On the last edition, Robomo asked what people thought about the killer PSP hit GTA:Liberty City Stories or GTA:LCS as the kids say. Hmm, G-TALCS...I think Robomo has his new hip-hop alias. See him this summer with Fiddy Cent in "Get Awesome or Die Not Awesome".

Anyway, the results are in and as expected Take 2 should be proud to know that:

20% I can't afford a PSP so too bad
19% Killing is bad
27% It's awesome, I love it!
35% It's good but it's no Robomo

...35% of you believe Robomo is still the best. Another very informative poll to say the least.

This week's question revolves around the "hoopla" surrounding Mario Kart DS and its WI-FI...or as I call it "WHY-FI". Actually Robomo doesn't really have a reason for that, it's just a really awesome pun. Now Robomo doesn't know why all this "hoopla" with WI-FI is happening? It is a very seriously flawed technology.

See, Nintendo promises to allow you to battle for the title with challengers all over the globe! Sounds good, no? Well Robomo did some research and discovered serious, serious contradictories to this promise...

Webster's Dictionary entry for the word "challenge" is as follows:
chal·lenge (n) - A test of one's abilities or resources in a demanding but stimulating undertaking

Webster's Dictionary entry for "robomo" is:

Ro·bo·mo (n,v,adv,adj) - One who is awesome; synonyms - awesome;awesomeness;awesome x infinity

Therefore, how could one, like Robomo, who is at the top of his game, be challenged at all? It's not possible, it is simply against the laws of gaming physics and human...physics...science & stuff.

Although Robomo has yet to go online with Mario Kart, he can only assume that all of Robomo's findings are all true. For those of you have gone online, answer the poll question on the Modojo homepage.

Disclaimer: Robomo may or may not appear in Webster's Dictionary but be sure that Mr.Webster himself knows of his awesomeness.

Robomo returns!

The Modojo crew, but mostly Robomo, have returned with a brand new site. Robomo doesn't have time to list all the features but trust Robomo, it is above adequate for you.

Now your favorite Black Box himself has been receiving messages, email, and pigeon-grams, all asking what has become of Robomo. The truth is Robomo has been doing some soul searching and it's time to go on the level...

My name is not Robomo, it's Bob Hopkins. I'm not an awesome leader as I said I was, I'm actually a paper mill rep from Boise, Idaho. This "poll" is just a side job I do on the weekends. I only have one lady, and not the 20 I mentioned before. My cool meter is nowhere L33t, I haven't even P0wned anyone before. I made this poll to bring happiness to the masses. I did all for you, the user and I just want you to know that...

...wait for it...

...here it comes...

Robomo does nothing for no one! There is no new Robomo! There is only one Robomo and he's back and awesomer than ever. The awesomeness level has shot through the roof!

Visit or don't visit, the Robomo Fun Poll every week where I will comment on the poll on the homepage and many other Robomo related things. Robomo may even answer your feedback in the comments section. Only if it's good though, I'm a busy robot.

*No poll results in this entry either because you already received an awesome burn.

Robomo returns!

It has been a long time since the last installment of the Robomo Fun Poll but have no fear, your fearlous and awesome poll is here!

Today Robomo's poll is devoted to a lesser known platform. Many years ago Alexander Graham Bell invented a device to talk with others. Today, much like he intended, millions can now talk and play games on the same device. Yes, it's the wireless platform. In this edition of the poll, Alexander Graham Bell would like to know if you play games on your cell?

26% - Totally
28% - Neverly
23% - Once in College
23% - Is my PSP considered a cell?

Will you answer the mandatory PSP launch related poll?

In the last edition of the Robomo Fun "Poll", you were asked what European DS title you would like to see. As of now, Raatchet Und Klank: Up Your Productivity is in first place proving that German work ethic still appeals to the 13-24 male demographic.

With the launch of the PSP happening today, Robomo was asked, no, pleaded, to post a "poll" relating to the PSP launch. You know like "what games you are getting" or "how awesome is your PSP". So keeping in line with every other "poll" on the web today, Robomo gives you this very thought provoking "poll".

19% - No
17% - No
26% - All of the Above
38% - A and C
