brain age kit

i finally got my brain age kit from toys r us. when i went to get the ds lite bundle, they were all out of the kits, so they told me to check back. a week or so ago i called and got put on hold multiple times. so i figured this time it would be easier to just go into the store.
turned out they had one left.

the pen stylus is kinda cool, and i'll probably use the bag rag.
but the case is disappointing. it's pretty... but it doesn't seem to have any spots the right size for holding games. there's a big mesh pocket inside that has a bit of velcro to close it. on the outside there's a zip pocket with elastic straps to hold games... but they aren't the right size for ds games. there's a little mesh pocket there that doesn't have any sort of closure.

oh well.

i may keep using the case for my original ds that i quite like.

ds lite

i caved and bought a white ds lite. i wanted the enamel navy, but i heard it might not come out here soon, if at all.
so, i'm looking at getting a skin or too.

anyway, that thing is BRIGHT.
and i much prefer the larger stylus... despite having small hands. the only problem i've had so far is that sometimes my left hand sneaks over from the d pad onto the edge of the screen. i've also almost closed the lid while playing. i've gotten better with practice though.

oh, and i beat phoenix wright.
